MoMA Mixx

  • On September 26th, FLY16x9 premiered a large scale video installation in the Museum of Modern Arts main atrium for MoMA MiXX. An ongoing MoMA series and dance party hosted by the Junior Associates pairing major artists with world-class musicians and DJ’s.


    At this historic event, MoMA transformed their lobby into a giant dance floor with an open bar, while the walls of the Atrium overhead were filled with large scale video projections by FLY16x9. Guest artists and DJ's Derrick Adams, Mickalene Thomas, Hercules and Love Affair, Justin Carter and Eamon Harkin spun sets which were influential in their lives and work.
